Ethics, Accountability and Complaints

I am an accredited member of this professional body which supports ethical practice within the counselling profession.

I am a Registered Member of the BACP and abide by their ethical framework.

Within this is the importance of providing you with a safe, effective and confidential service, where you can explore your emotions, experiences and values, in a non-judgemental environment. 

Regular supervision is a requirement of the BACP and NCPS to support best practice by all counsellors. 

 If you are unhappy at any point in our counselling relationship and you don't feel able to raise this with me directly; then  you can access information about how to complain to the BACP, by using the link below on 'how to complain'. You also make a complaint to the NCPS.

I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office in line with Data Protection requirements. 

I have indemnity insurance with Howden Insurance services. I have a valid DBS certificate and this is registered with the update service and is checked weekly by them.
